| Residential Advisor: Responsibilities and Qualifications |
- Provide mentoring outlet for students needing to share personal trials and goals.
- De-escalation of situations involving students who are angry or upset.
- Implement, and guide students through, individual “Care Plans”.
- Working with individual students to set goals and plans to achieve them.
- Work to include family members in each student’s restoration process.
- Assess and reevaluate students as needed.
- Lead and facilitate small groups with/without activities.
- Provide general supervision for students after school hours and on the weekends.
- Manage special projects as requested by the Residential Manager/Director
- Participate in spiritual development of students.
- Strong Christian values, a good understanding of and the ability to communicate God’s Word and sets personal example of Godly values in daily life.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check maintains a valid Driver’s License and operates within the purpose and statement of faith of Jubilee Fellowship.
- Desire to become a part of a team.
- Effective listening skills.
- Understanding of basic Psychology.
- Called to this specific area of ministry.
- Self motivated, good work habits organized and manage time well.
- Knowledge and ability to accomplish tasks and projects as needed by the Residential Manager/Director.
